Pineapple with a Kick

Cook: 2-3 minutes | Servings: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh pineapple – peeled, cored and cut into 1 inch rings
  • 1/4 teaspoon of honey
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 dash of hot sauce
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Put pineapple in a big plastic bag.  Add honey, butter, hot sauce and salt.  Shake up to coat evenly.  Marinate for at least 1 hour or over night.
  2. Preheat grill to high heat, and lightly spread oil on grill.
  3. Grill pineapple for 2-3 minutes per side or until heated through and grill marks appear.
